Why RCB Don\’t Win IPL Title: Royal Challengers Bangalore is one of the most famous franchise of IPL. 16 seasons of IPL have been played, in which RCB has not won a single title. Now Yuzvendra Chahal, who has played for RCB for 8 years, has tried to find an answer to this. RCB reached the final of IPL in 2016, but then the team had to face defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Talking on \’The Ranveer Show\’, Chahal said, \”I have been trying to find the answer to this question for eight years. We had the best chance in 2016 because we had Chris Gayle and KL Rahul. We had lost the final. We won 6 out of 7 matches in the end. I got my first purple cap in the qualifier match against Delhi, but only for two days.
Chahal further said, “The equation was that if we lose, we will be out of the top 4 and if we win, we will be at number two. We won the match and reached the final. We were playing at Chinnaswamy but lost the match by 8-10 runs. that\’s hurts.\”
Chahal was further asked what talks happen after a bad season. Responding to this, he said, “We talk about what we can do differently in the next season. When you lose after playing good cricket, you don\’t feel too bad. One thing is losing after trying, the other is losing from the very beginning.\”
Chahal told how once the team won after losing 6 matches in a row, it was celebrated like winning the title. Chahal said, “Once, we lost 6 matches in a row, when we won the 7th match, we celebrated as if we had won the title. Cricket also shows you these pictures. This time Rajasthan was the best team and we could not even qualify. We do not think much about the things which are not in our hands.
